Founded
in 1986 by Thomas Swearingen, Ph.D., P.E.,
EHS-Alaska is a recognized leader in hazardous
materials engineering and industrial hygiene for
the state of Alaska. We have completed over 3,100
projects from Point Barrow to La Paz and from Attu
to Fort Lauderdale.
The professional engineers, certified industrial
hygienists, and environmental specialists at
EHS-Alaska have identified and provided designs for
removal of industrial hazards ranging from asbestos
to zinc chromate (chemical hazards), aspergillus to
ulocladium fungi (biological hazards), and from
acoustics to thermal stress (physical hazards).
We are specialists in the design of hazardous
materials abatement programs that minimize the cost
to owners in dollars and down time on construction
projects. In addition we provide a full range of
Industrial Hygiene services, SPCC Plan development
and maintenance, and Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site
Assessments.
