Ms. Zaragoza has provided hazardous material consulting services to EHS-Alaska clients since joining the firm in 2002. Ms. Zaragoza’s projects range from door removal surveys to complex military base renovations. Based on her knowledge and experience she is able to review design documents and formulate a plan for surveying suspect hazardous materials that ensures the construction documents present a complete picture of the hazards likely to be encountered during renovations and demolition projects. As an AHERA Management Planner, Ms. Zaragoza develops management plans required under law to manage asbestos in place in K-12 educational facilities. EHS-Alaska clients rely on Ms. Zaragoza for her technically precise review of contract submittals. She has established working relationships in the construction contracting community that allow her to resolve potential problems quickly and efficiently. Ms. Zaragoza performs hazardous materials surveys for municipal, school district, and government clients. She produces survey reports, specifications for the removal and disposal of hazardous building materials, and creates AutoCAD hazardous material removal design drawings. Ms. Zaragoza also provides Industrial Hygiene services for indoor air quality testing and respirator fit testing.
