Mr. Bonney possesses twenty-four years of engineering, technical and construction project management experience including eleven years as a hazardous materials consultant. He has extensive experience in hazardous materials abatement project design including directing work exposure monitoring tests, and determining engineering controls to reduce worker exposure to hazardous materials.
Mr. Bonney’s project experience includes asbestos, lead paint, and removal designs for educational, federal, state, local and private buildings. As Senior Project Manager, he has managed over 350 projects involving asbestos and lead paint consulting services at EHS-Alaska, Inc. He manages complex asbestos abatement projects, such as multi-family housing units and large hospital demolition plans.
Mr. Bonney’s clients include military entities, the United States Postal Service, the General Services Administration, school districts, and businesses throughout the state. He understands his clients' needs and provides them expertise in investigative surveys, EPA and OSHA compliance assessments, hazardous materials removal specification design, contractor technical assistance and quality control oversight, and closeout documentation.
Mr. Bonney works throughout Alaska in urban, rural, remote, industrial, and military installations. His work sites are diverse, from environmentally sensitive areas to industrial process facilities. He is experienced in working in remote project areas in sub-arctic and arctic weather.
As an officer of the corporation he serves as Treasurer on the EHS-Alaska Board of Directors and is involved in the daily management of EHS-Alaska, Inc. He prepares proposals for clients, negotiates contract fees and coordinates project work with principals of client companies and government agencies.
