|
The professional design community provides
EHS Alaska with a diversified client base,
which rapidly responds to the region's
dynamic economy. We currently have active
projects with 30 of the regions top design
and engineering firms.
|
|

|
Federal, state and local government
agencies are among the largest client
group for the EHS. We have multiple
project-specific contracts as well as a
long term indefinite-delivery,
indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with
the General Services Administration.
|
|

|
The dynamic advances in the technology and
delivery methods for medical care have
made both military and private hospitals a
major client sector for the EHS. We have
provided a stream of design and
construction management services for
Providence Alaska Medical Center, Alaska
Native Hospital, Yukon-Kuskokwim Health
Corporation, and the Bassett Army
Community Hospital.
|
|

|
The industrial sector, which includes
private clients, is an essential part of
our business. This diverse sector includes
banks, insurance companies, law firms,
shipping companies, commercial
enterprises, and the oil industry.
|
|

|
Not only have health and safety
regulations effected nearly every
construction activity, but compliance with
these regulations has become increasingly
sophisticated. We have extensive
experience in both the private sector and
government with design build projects.
|
|

|
Since the Asbestos Hazard Emergency
Response Act (AHERA) was promulgated in
1987, public schools have been a
significant client sector for EHS Alaska.
Although these regulations have recently
become less burdensome, they still
permeate all maintenance activities and
impact school renovation and addition
projects. EHS-Alaska, Inc. has been the
Hazardous Materials Consultant for the
Anchorage School District since 1998.
EHS-Alaska provides services to school
districts throughout the state, in both
urban and rural settings.
